At gathering halls such as those in temporary housing, disaster victims plunge their feet into buckets of hot water. As they rub their hands and massage themselves during these 10-minute baths, they sometimes also find the words to let loose the pain and sadness hidden behind their smiles. More than anything else, the members of the Fukushima Student Network for Restoration Support want to work on listening. The real task here is providing emotional comfort.
